Welcome to Recipes From my Cauldron. I'm a vegan herbalist with a ton of allergies. While playing with recipes that were vegan, gluten free, corn free, nutritional yeast free, yeast free, and canola oil free I started to also look into ways to combine both herbs and magical elements into my cooking. The results are what you will see in this blog. Some of my recipes are simply delicious, vegan, and all of the above allergies- free meals and treats. Others show you ways to incorporate a little extra nutrition or herbal medicine into your cooking. And some show you how to channel your inner kitchen witch by bringing a magical element to your cooking.
I do eat raw honey so if you don't, feel free to swap out the honey in these recipes for maple syrup or agave.
Also, for my corn allergy readers, xantham gum is grown on a corn mold. For some reason, I've been fortunate enough to find that its growning conditions don't trigger my allergy. However, if it does affect you switch out the xantham gum for another thickening agent.
