I got to meet Amanda from Coops microcreamery and she's super sweet. I want to start by saying that this company is totally a small family run company with products made by Marc Cooper and his daughter. So, if you want to support small businesses in NYC take a look around for their fantastic packaging.
Just seeing the creative jar lid of "hot fudge" looking like its dripping down the glass makes me feel like time, thought, and care have been poured into the creation of this fudge line.
Opening up the jar, I was met with creamy deliciousness that both looked and tasted like a rich chocolate cake frosting. (You're supposed to warm the jar to pour it over your desserts, but I may have just eaten a few scoops with a spoon because it was too good not to. If you're looking for food induced feelings of euphoria, I suggest doing this!)
They succeeded in making an indulgently creamy texture and have totally lived up to the name "microcreamery". If you have any friends who doubt that "vegan" and "creamy" can be used to describe the same foods, this fudge will 100 % change their minds.
The chocolate flavor is just sweet enough without being too sweet to pair it with other sugar-y delights and I'm not sure that there's a word better than "decadent" to describe the feeling of eating it.
